40Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has initiated a national search for a BC/BE Plastic Surgeon who has fellowship training and a demonstrable proficiency in Hand surgery. In particular, one who has interest in brachial plexus surgery, congenital hand surgery and microsurgery. This is an opportunity to join a well-established team of three full-time and one part-time Pediatric Plastic Surgeons supported by Advanced Practice Providers as they attend to patients presenting with the entire spectrum of simple and complex pediatric plastic diagnoses. Cook Children’s is committed to securing a Plastic Surgeon whose professional, social, and economic interests would lend themselves to a long-term fit within the patient focused culture present within our institution, medical staff, and community.
Minimum qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
The applicant must have completed a recognized hand specialty training program (a case list is required), be board certified/board eligible in Plastic Surgery.
The applicant must also have, or be eligible to obtain, the CAQ in hand surgery.
Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License before commencing employment.
American Heart Association BLS and PALS.
