Are you ready to bring your talent to this practice and join us in moving health care forward? Role Overview We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant II to support the practice onsite, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.
On Thursdays this Medical Assistant will assist the provider with procedures, primarily injections at our 4 West Street location in Hatfield! As true partners to our nurses and providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the collaborative team.
The medical assistant will work 1:1 with our Spine Medicine provider in our single provider practice, seeing approximately 12 patients a day while also being a part of our multispecialty group of three medical assistants.
Our two medical assistants independently support Infectious disease and neurology and help cover one another’s dedicated specialties if needed! Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
- Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, point of care testing, immunizations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
- Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management (phone calls, test results, prescription refill, coordination of care, etc.)
- Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
- Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
