Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent required\ Supervisory experience 8-10 years required Progressive experience as a technologist 8-10+ years preferred Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with de partmental staff, medical staff, patients and other hospital personnel. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations. Must possess analytical abilities necessary to effectively utilize advanced knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures and anatomy to direct activities, develop policies and procedures, ensure compliance and evaluate procedures and equipment. Must have the ability to adapt to changing pace (stressful situations) within the department, with frequent interruptions. Presents a positive attitude and a professional appearance. Must be a graduate of an approved school within the Medical Diagnostic Imaging field (Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or equivalent). The Off-Campus Imaging (OCI) Director, under the general supervision of the MGB Senior Director Radiology, Community Hospitals and working with the physician dyad partner for ESG is responsible for the technical operations, quality, safety, compliance, and Human Resources for the department of Radiology at Mass General Brigham Danvers and other locations as assigned including but not limited to Salem, Danvers, Lynn, Peabody, Swampscott, Beverly and other locations as assigned. The Director is responsible for participating in the strategy/development/expansion of existing and new Off-Campus Imaging locations. The Director will collaborate with the modality clinical managers to ensure consistent clinical operations at all OCI locations for each individual modality at each site. Business Development - In conjunction with modality MD dyad partner and modality clinical directors, responsible for the overall growth & expansion of modality service lines (i.e. hours of operations, new exam offerings, new areas of opportunity, research, etc.) Human Resource Management - Oversees and provides guidance to staff on all corrective action; upon consulting with the Clinical Managers and Senior Director of Operations (as needed) Operations Management - Develops, monitors, and maintains operational workflows to promote efficient and safe patient throughput. Financial Management - Responsible for expense and exam volume budget creation and implementation Quality, Safety, Equity & Experience - Ensures that all Department, Hospital, and Regulatory guidelines are met (i.e. Joint Commission, CMS, DPH, ACR and all others that may apply) Technical Management - Participates in the development of capital budget, renovation plans, proper functioning and preventative maintenance of equipment, and support IT project planning/training/implementation to ensure readiness within areas of oversight.
