This location has multiple specialties including Endocrinology, Neurology, and General Surgery. The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the Endocrine and Diabetes Suite onsite Monday through Friday. The Ideal Schedule: - Monday: 8:45am- 5:15pm - Tuesday: 9:45am- 6:15pm - Wednesday: 8:45am-5:15pm - Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm - Friday: 9:45am- 6:15pm As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities. Responsibilities include: - Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office - Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed) - Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.) - Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas - Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs. Qualifications When hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only relevant qualifications, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, empathy, and genuine passion for the work. - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of a formal medical assistant training program required - CPR certification from a program approved by the American Heart Association required - National Medical Assistant certification preferred - Clinical support experience, specifically in primary care and/or specialty care setting, preferred
