Patient Care Associate – Bigelow 7- Medical Short Stay unit Why This Role Is Important? Bigelow 7 is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA), with Day or Night availability, and to provide rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Bigelow 7 and Bigelow 12, are a combined unit of Emergency Department Observation (EDOU) patients, who are Adult medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and neurology patients from the Emergency Department that need only a short stay at MGH. Under the direction of an registered nurse (RN), the PCA assists the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions to promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.
