Our attractive and comprehensive benefits package is designed to meet the needs of our employees. This position is Per Diem and will work in Waltham and Framingham and surrounding towns. Minimum of 2 shifts a month. Job Summary Provide occupational therapy services, under the direction of a registered occupational therapist, to patients in their place of residence who have cognitive and/or physical impairment resulting from injury, disease, disability or other causes. Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years. Collaborate with patient, family, physician and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs. Key Activities • Documentation is submitted daily and accurately reflects objectivity, measurability through goal-directed treatments. • Application of standard treatment procedures; Teaching is provided to patients and caregivers • Interdisciplinary communication occurs regularly Qualifications and Experience • Two years experience in acute care, rehab or home care as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. • Registered with the Board of Registration in Massachusetts. • Strong customer service skills and able to work with diverse populations • Proficient customer service skills and ability to learn new software applications • Excellent verbal, written and electronic communications skills • Ability to prioritize assignments and adapt to changing situations • Travel required within Mass General Brigham Healthcare Home's geographic area
