Description

Under the supervision of professional staff performs a variety of activities that facilitate the flow and care of patients in the operating room. These includes preparing the OR to receive patients from cleaning, moving equipment, running specimen to the lab and assisting the nursing team in a variety of tasks. This a a physical active position. A candidate must be able to lift 25 lbs throughout the day. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical examination. The ability to lift and move heavy equipment and patients. Basic computer skills which may be obtained thru on the job training. Prefer completion of hospital training program. Graduation from high school or equivalency is preferred.
