Description

SUMMARY

This Registered Nurse / RN Inpatient Rehab provides direct clinical patient care.

The Registered Nurse / RN will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The RN is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

  Qualifications

Education

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Certifications

Required: 

Possession of current Texas State License for RN.

BLS required for all units–Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Pros

They are not helpful if you are new to them or a traveler. However, they were kind. They had a new manager take over, and I feel he's going to be able to turn that place around.

Cons

You can find suitable housing nearby. I stayed north of the 1604 Loop for some peace and quiet.
