Description
ChristianaCare is seeking a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join our Center for Heart & Vascular Health.
Join our team at The Center for Heart & Vascular Health at ChristianaCare, consisting of 25 cardiologists and 16 advanced practice clinicians, in providing the highest-level care and treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
Position Highlights:
- Robust Electrophysiology team consisting of 5 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians
- State-of-the-Art Facility and Equipment- The Gerret and Tatiana Copeland Arrhythmia Center at the Center for Heart & Vascular Health is a fully capable electrophysiology suite that features advanced stereotaxis technology for the diagnosis and treatment of heart-rhythm disorders, or arrhythmia.
- ChristianaCare is the only hospital in Delaware and among a select group of high-volume centers nationally utilizing Stereotaxis Niobe Magnetic Navigation System, with the capability to perform a new type of ablation that cures atrial fibrillation in up to 80% of our patients
- The Center for Heart and Vascular Health at Christiana Hospital saw 1,600 EP procedures, 1,800 chest pain admissions and performs over 3,000 cardiac catheterizations, 1,400 PCIs, and 880 cardiac surgical procedures annually. The Center also provides advanced heart failure services including placement and management of left-ventricular assist devices.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Must have the ability to be licensed in the State of Delaware and meet credentialing requirements
