Description
Adventist Health is seeking a motivated speech language pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Hanford, CA. This position will evaluate and treat patients mainly at our Hanford hospital, including VFSS evaluations but will also provide intermittent coverage at our Tulare, Selma, and Reedley hospitals. Essential Functions:
Patient caseload of 7-10 patients/day. Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment. Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. Supervises assistants and support staff. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Position may require to work/travel to any of the 4 hospitals: Tulare, Hanford, Selma and Reedley.

Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Master's Degree: Required
- One year of inpatient Speech language pathology experience: Required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competency: Required
