Description
Work Schedule:
Part-time, 80% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are currently seeking an MA (CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:
- Join our team of Behavioral Health and Recovery specialists who provide assessment and treatment for patients and families with substance and behavioral concerns.
- Work on prior authorizations, incoming telephone encounters, MyChart encounters and refills, paperwork, urine specimen collection and occasional vitals.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

- High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following Required
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or
- Licensure as an LPN or
- Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program or an Employee Partner Medical Assistant Program or
- Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee or
- Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program – Accelerated or
- One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
- 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Preferred
- Certified as MA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA within 1 Year Required or
- Licensure as an LPN Upon Hire Required
- If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification Upon Hire Required
- CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
