Responsibilities:
Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications
Assessing and maintaining appropriate pain control in post-operative patients
Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on evolving needs.
Provides comprehensive, individualized teaching based on identified learning needs of families.
Communicates in an accurate, objective manner.
Work Experience:
1 Year inpatient ICU - REQUIRED
Education:
- BSN required
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas Upon Hire Required
- BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required
