Registered Nurse—PICU
Full Time Permanent Night Shift – 3-12 hours

We are looking for an RN with at least 1-year inpatient critical care experience
Responsibilities:
· Strong assessment skills and demonstrate critical care thinking
· Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on evolving needs.
· Provides comprehensive, individualized teaching based on identified learning needs of families
· Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications • Advanced modalities such as ECMO and CRRT
Qualifications:
- BSN in Nursing
- Current TX Nurse license
- TX resident
- At LEAST 1 year of PICU, 2 is preferred. Otherwise we would consider anyone with 3 years of adult ICU
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BLS/PALS from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
