Description
We currently have several Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) positions available at our Plano location. These openings include full-time, part-time, and PRN (as needed) roles, and are part of our expansion efforts in Plano.

Summary:
The RCP performs the functions of a respiratory care practitioner in direct care. This position utilizes the respiratory care process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care and works effectively with members of the health care team, including the family in the provision of care to patients. The incumbent performs the functions of a respiratory care practitioner in direct care and utilizes the respiratory care process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. You will work in Critical care units.
WORK EXPERIENCE
*Minimum 3 years of pediatric critical care RT experience required
EDUCATION
* Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience Req
* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Pref
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* BLS from American Heart Association -Req
* NRP -Pref
* PALS from American Heart Association Req
* RRT recognized by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) and active Texas license Req
* RRT-NPS recognized by the NBRC (preferred for CT OR) 2 Yrs Req
* Initial Pediatric Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behaviors (PPMAB) training must completed within 90 days of hire and be renewed annually (Plano and OCH locations only) 90 Days Req
