Job Title & Specialty Area: Mobile Team Leader Cardiac Sonography
Department: Cardiology ECHO
Location: Dallas (DFW Metroplex)
Shift: M-F 8-4:30. Participation in weekend and weeknight call rotation.

Summary:
Provide daily oversight to team mobile cardiac sonographers. Provide mentorship of cardiac sonographers, train and onboard new team members and coordinate daily operations for multiple locations. Develop and maintain team scheduling and coverages. Assist with time management and quality assurance metrics. Collaborate with department and physician leadership to ensure service delivery and adherence to departmental protocols and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
· Cardiac sonographer staffing & coverage assignments for multiple locations
· Develop and manage team call schedules, time keeping & PTO approvals
· Perform high quality transthoracic pediatric echocardiographic exams following all laboratory protocols; participate in weekend and weeknight call rotation
Performance reviews & team professional development
· Participate in hiring new team members, communication of department initiatives, staff engagement & rounding
· Mentor & precept new team member orientation & collaborate to assist in training new cardiac sonographers
How You’ll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
* 3 years pediatric cardiac sonography experience, leadership experience (or demonstrated skill) & staff development experience required.
* Experience in neonatal echocardiography is preferred.
EDUCATION
* Two-year Associate's degree in Echocardiography Required
* Four-year Bachelor's degree Preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Certified in Pediatric echo (ARDMS Certification preferred; CCI acceptable) Required.
* Certified in two (2) of the following: Fetal, Adult, Vascular Preferred.
* BLS (American Heart Association) Required.
