Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to industry standards.
Radiology Technologist
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Other: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
CT Technologist
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Other: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
Competent in components or CT radiographic practice as determined to be adequate by the Lead CT Technologist and Assistant Director.
Mammography Technologist
EDUCATION:
Other: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
RHM-Radiology Mammography Upon Hire
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
Sonographer
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Associate's: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent education/experience
Other: Graduation from a certified school of ultrasound
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years related experience and/or training

Pay Range is $60.81 to $76.00 / hour. CT Technologist Pay Range is $59.16 to $74.22 / hour. Sonographer Pay Range is $64.58 to $82.43 / hour.The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
