Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Post-Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk postpartum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
In this role you will:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
- 1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
- BSN is preferred
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained before employment start date
