Pulmonary Registered Respiratory Therapist 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. 2 years’ experience current required, provides cardiopulmonary diagnostic and respiratory therapeutic support for patients in the Hospital and/or outpatients that require cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing, respiratory treatment, and/or ventilatory support, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. CERTS: BLS required. PALS, NRP and ACLS preferred. BLS, (ACLS, and PALS if obtained) must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EMR: EPIC experience preferred. SHIFTS: 12 hour varied shift. On call, weekends, holidays and float as needed. May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS of intended facility (not driving distance). 2. Travelers must not have been an employee of any healthcare facility located within the Albuquerque Metropolitan area within the past year in order to be considered for a position. 3. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. 4. Please visit the New Mexico Department of Health COVID page at 5. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico. 6. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED/AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).Employer
