ARRT Certification

Job details

Accurately delivers the planned course of radiation therapy while correctly operating the treatment units with minimal supervision.
Maintains visual and audible communication with the patient during treatment.
Responsible for performing daily linac and CT QA as well as monthly CT QA.
Accurately performs IGRT, SBRT treatment, and portal imaging.
CT/Simulates patients for radiation therapy following department and site specific protocols.
Constructs immobilization devices as needed.
Understands and is able to use IV contrast for simulation when needed.
Accurately performs respiratory gating and ACQ sim.
Constructs electron and cerrobend blocks when needed.
Maintains and verifies all aspects of MOSAIQ for daily treatment management.

Job requirements

Successful completion of an approved course in Radiation Therapy
ARRT certified and registered
