Description

Job details

Conducts procedures and tests using Computerized Tomography (CT) equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
Verifies patient identification, obtains patient history, assists patients and family members that require extra attention, and ensures patient safety.
Obtains images per protocols, manipulates images according to protocols, performs multi-planar and 3D reconstruction of image data.
Administers oral and IV contrast according to protocols, establishes intravenous lines, and checks appropriate lab values before contrast injection.
Maintains thorough understanding of PACS, transmits images to QC, and verifies and segments images at the QC station.

Job requirements

Prior education, training and experience that provides the ability to perform the assigned tasks.
