- California State License to practice as a Physical Therapist
Certification details
- The WelbeHealth Physical Therapist is responsible for coordinating and providing restorative and rehabilitative Physical Therapy services to participants at the Center and at home.
- The Physical Therapist collaborates with the Occupational Therapist to efficiently operate WelbeHealth rehabilitation department.
- Physical Therapist is a member of the WelbeHealth management team and facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and with external stakeholders.
Job details
- Five years of Progressively responsible PT experience.
- Minimum of two years’ Physical Therapy experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population.
- Physical Therapy knowledge and skills necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
- Two years’ supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
Job requirements
- Highly motivated, self-directed, able to execute tasks in a quickly changing environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to process accurate information in a timely manner.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families and interdisciplinary team members.
