Job details

Mental Health Coordinator - LPC, LCSW, LMFT
Plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility.
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
Document treatment and evaluation activities in the health care record for each person seen.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques.

Job requirements

LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure in Mississippi
Experience in mental health services
Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans

Additional Details

Provides appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of inmates.
