Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist will:

• Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
• Maintain clinical expertise for departmental assignments at various business units as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned.
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Contract Length

• 90 days

Required Skills & Experience

• Two years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
