Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, the Respiratory Therapist will:
- Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
- Maintain clinical expertise for departmental assignments at various business units as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
- Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned.
- Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.
Contract Length
- 90 days
Required Skills & Experience
- Two years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
