Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Options: 3x12's or 4x12's
Guaranteed Hours:
- 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek
- 3, 12 hr. shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek
- 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek

Requirements

Experience: At least 1 year of travel experience required; candidates with less will not be considered.
Licensure:
- IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
CERNER Experience: Required.
RTO Restrictions: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
Local Candidates: Not accepted.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CHEMO - Chemotherapy
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course

NIH Stroke Certification
HIPAA Acknowledgement
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Color Blind Testing
Unit Competency Exam

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Completed within 12 months of the start date.
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Required within 1 year of the start date.
Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen from within 12 months of the start date.
Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation: Required for all candidates.

Background and History Checks

Background Check: Required within 90 days of start.
References: Minimum of 2 references required from recent employment.
Employment Application: Must be current and include work history.

Additional Information

Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities, with exceptions for certain specialties.
A valid driver’s license or passport is required.
All facility-specific forms must be completed as a priority.
