Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Hemapheresis RN)

Location

Employment Details

• Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10s, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
• On Call: Evenings and weekends (rotation with all RN staff)
• Patient Ratios: Mostly 1:1, occasional 1:2 depending on patient mix

Qualifications

• Experience Required:

  • 1 year of Apheresis experience (specifically with Spectra Optia)
• Preferred Skills:

  • Therapeutic Plasma Exchanges
  • Red Blood Cell Exchanges
  • White Cell Depletions
  • Stem Cell Collections
  • Photopheresis and Lipid Apheresis (less priority)
• License Required:

  • South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (if applicable for specific units)
  • PALS (if applicable for pediatric units)
  • Other certifications as required by specific units

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June to November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
• Parking: A parking permit is required, with a registration fee for a hang tag.
