• Nights weekend schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Position Highlights

• Operate as a multi-modality tech (CT and X-Ray)
• Required to perform:

  • CT
  • X-ray
  • Fluoroscopy
  • C-arm
• May be required to rotate weekends and take call

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques
• Administer x-radiation to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• May alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call
• Flex hours and overtime as necessary to provide quality patient care
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Perform diagnostic CT procedures and, if assigned, radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions
• Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories
• Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest
• Practice aseptic technique as necessary
• Prepare and administer contrast media; start and maintain intravenous access
• Initiate basic life support action when necessary
• Provide patient education
• Maintain control of inventory and supplies for assigned area
• Provide practical instruction for students and partners
• Observe universal protocol, standard precautions, and appropriate patient identifiers
• Apply principles of patient safety during all aspects of procedures

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Radiographer experience required
• CT experience required

Certification / Licensure

• ARRT Radiography registration required
• ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
• WI-DSPS radiographer license required
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
