Facility Description:
- Advocate Christ Radiation Oncology
- Approximately 749 licensed beds
- Level 1 Trauma Center
- Magnet Designation
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- 3 treatment rooms
- 95% outpatient oncology patients with some inpatient/emergency appointments

Patient Care

Patient Ratio: 1:120 patients in each machine per day
Staffing:
- 12 therapists
- 4 Registered Nurses
- 2-3 Physicians available for support

Work Environment

Charting Systems: EPIC charting, Mosaic, Alaris IVs, Pyxis
Unit Culture: Fast-paced, flexible, and team-oriented
Orientation: 1 day of orientation to learn the flow of the hospital/unit
Dress Code: Any scrub color acceptable; no artificial fingernails or extenders allowed during direct patient contact; natural nail tips must be kept less than 1/4 inch long
Parking: Free parking onsite in designated areas

Candidate Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
Certifications:
- Active ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
- IEMA
Skills:
- Experience with True Beam
- Rooming patients
- Setting up treatment rooms
