Employment Details

• Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: Weekdays and some weekends; rotating holidays; floating required within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Patient Care

• Estimated Patient Ratios: Variable
• Patient Age Group: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Staffing Ratios:

  • Day: 3.5
  • Nights: 3.5
  • Weekends: 3.5
• Weekend Shifts per Contract: 9

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience Requirement: 3 years of Emergency Room experience required.
• Certifications Required:

  • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • Epic experience required
  • Previous travel experience preferred

• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam

  • Drug Testing
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (recommended)

• Background Check:

  • 7-Year Criminal Background Check
  • Fingerprinting (BCI & FBI)

• Certifications:

  • Various certifications as specified for different units (e.g., NRP, EFM, HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement)

• References:

  • 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager/director)
