Location

Job Description
- Position: 2NW CVICU RN
- Shift: 3 x 12 D/N Variable - 50/50 split (3 days, 3 nights within a 6-week period)
- On Call/Weekend Requirement: No call requirements; weekends included in rotation; holiday coverage expected.
- Float Requirement: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Requirements
- Licensure: DC RN Licensure (Pending DC license accepted but must have license prior to start date)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in telemetry, vents, high acuity unit required
- 1 prior travel assignment completed (first-time travelers will be screened)
- Pulmonary Artery Line experience preferred
- Level 1 trauma and post-op experience preferred

Additional Information
- Parking: Available directly on campus; no shuttle schedule.
- Vaccination Requirement: Employees must have the flu vaccination.
Contract Length
- Duration: 13 weeks
Health and Safety Documents Required
- Annual physical exam
- N95 Fit Test (within 9 months of start)
- TB testing (IGRA or PPD)
- Vaccination records (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19)
- Drug screening (within 90 days of start)
Background and History Checks
- Criminal background check required within 90 days of start.
- References: Two positive supervisory references required.
