Job Description

• Coverage for Emergency Department (ED), observation, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• RTO (Request Time Off) must be included in the submission.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience: Epic experience required; CIC preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome.
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Possible requirement.

Certifications Required

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS: Basic Life Support
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (if applicable)
• TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (if applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for specific units (ED, ICU, Telemetry).

Health Requirements

• Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (October 1 - March 31).
• Physical Exam: Must be completed within a year of start.
• Fit Test: Required within the last 12 months.
• TB Testing: Negative PPD, Tspot, or QGold within 1 year of start.
• Vaccinations: Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.

Background Check

• Criminal Background Check: 7-year check required.
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references required.

Additional Information

• Candidates must complete various facility-specific documents and training prior to starting.
• A clear, passport-style photo is required for badge purposes.
• Candidates must complete a virtual orientation and sign an attestation.
