Job Description

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The facility is a 169-bed regional referral center that partners with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene to provide primary and specialty care throughout southwestern New Hampshire.

Patient Care

Patient Population: Adolescent to Geriatric
RN to Patient Ratio: 2 to 1
Unit Beds: 10
Level of Care: Level III Trauma

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of current ICU experience
Skills:
- Proficient with IV Drips, Ventilators, Hemodynamic Monitoring, and Vaso Pressures
- Arterial Line experience
- Charge and preceptor abilities are a plus
Certifications:
- Current Nursys
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Additional: Must have a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate uploaded with the profile.

Additional Information

Orientation: Non-billable orientation with no multipliers for overtime or holidays.
Travel Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle
- Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be considered.
Time Off: Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted.
Training: As of 1/1/24, all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding.
