Position Details

Job Description

Candidates must complete a mandatory questionnaire before submission. Key points include:

1. Candidate awareness of submission to Cone Health and job description review.
2. Flexibility with scheduling and understanding of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
3. Compliance completion by the deadline (12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date).
4. Awareness of the Pass Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at Cone Health.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• First-time travelers are welcome.

Required Certifications

• BLS: Basic Life Support
• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• ARRT: Required for Radiology Technologists
• RCIS/RCES: Required for Electrophysiology Techs
• Additional skills in arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, and pacemaker insertion are required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies.

Additional Information

• Work Environment: 9 Room Lab with 2 active EP labs performing ablations and implants.
• Team: High-level multidisciplinary team focused on excellent patient outcomes.

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Identification: Government-issued photo ID required.
• Certifications: Various certifications required based on specialty (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
• Health Documents:

  • Health History Form
  • Fit Mask Test
  • Vaccination records (e.g., Tdap, Flu, COVID-19)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Drug Screen
• Background Check: Required within 60 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school for the past 7 years.
• References: 2 supervisory references required for clinical positions.
