Unit Specifics

• Unit: Neonatal/Pediatric RRT
• Documentation System: Epic
• Shift Requirements: 7 PM – 12-hour shifts
• Patient Experience Requirements: 2+ years of Neonatal ICU and PICU Critical Care experience

Skills and Certifications Required

• Must Have:

  • 2+ years of Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience
• Advanced Skills Needed:

  • Ability to independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo-U ventilator
  • Setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures
  • Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation including biPAP and CPAP
  • Neonatal skills including attending pre-term delivery, Bubble CPAP, use of nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation
• Certifications Required:

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
