Job Description

• Position/Specialty: CCU (Critical Care Unit)
• Shift: Nights
• Patient Ratios/Daily Caseload: 2-3 patients per nurse
• Experience Required: Minimum of 1.5 years
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs (5 facility float clause is emergency only)
• Holiday Requirement: 75% of holidays
• Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
• Pending License: Accepted
• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 2 weeks, added to the end of the contract
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Special Requirements

• Experience: EPIC, level 1 trauma experience or level 2 with travel experience

  • North Carolina Driver's License must list an address greater than 50 miles from the facility.
  • Residency Declaration Form if using a compact license that is not NC.

    • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, NIH Stroke Certification, and others as applicable.
  • Background checks, education verification, and state-specific searches are mandatory.
