Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Description

Shift: 3x12s, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday
Floating: Required as needed
Charge RN: May serve as Charge RN if needed

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years required; no first-time travelers
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- EPIC (Electronic Health Record)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - preferred
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - preferred
- NIH Stroke Certification - required for Cardiac Progressive Care, MS/Tele
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) - required
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam - required
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Skills Required:
- Blood product administration
- Peripheral line care management
- Starting IVs
- Use of Rapid Response teams
- Nasal Cannula management
- Isolation precautions

Health and Safety Requirements

Vaccinations: Proof of Adult Tdap Vaccine, Flu Vaccine, and COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination
Drug Screen: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days of start
Fit Mask Test: Required annually

Education Requirements

Degree: Associate's in Nursing or higher required for RNs
Foreign Education: Documentation of foreign equivalency evaluation required if applicable
