Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

• Facility: PHP Atrium Medical Center
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x9 hours (36 hours per week), 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Call Requirements: 30-minute response time (every fourth weekend and 2 nights per week)

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced practice cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography.
• Conduct electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Assist in cardiac device implantation procedures.
• Provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.
• Maintain records and documentation for procedures.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 1 year in cardiac cath lab.
• Preferred Experience: Electrophysiology (EP), EPIC, and MacLab.

Facility Information

• Cath Labs: 3 (IR, CATH, EP)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per day across all labs.
• Lab Environment: Fast-paced, high acuity, level 3 Cath lab, including structural heart procedures.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Licensed Radiology Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)

• Drug Testing (including marijuana panel)
• Annual Health Questionnaire
• Physical Exam (within 2 years)
