Schedule

  • Monday to Friday with rotating weekly and holiday call

Job Description

  • Rotation through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and Oncology PET/CT.
  • Provides diagnostic medical nuclear medicine services in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and professional standards.
  • Clinical competencies required to perform nuclear medicine procedures for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics under the supervision of interpreting physicians.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or NMTCB Certification.
    • Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas.

  • BLS - Basic Life Support

  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • CHEMO - Chemotherapy
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • State License Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
  • NIH Stroke Certification

  • Physical Exam (within 1 year of start)
  • Fit Test (within 6 months prior to start)
  • TDAP Vaccine (within 10 years of start)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Rubeola (Measles) Vaccination
  • Mumps Vaccination
  • Rubella Vaccination
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination
  • Varicella Vaccination
  • Drug Testing
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (Initial series required)

Background Check

  • Required within 30 days of start, including a 7-year background check.

References

  • 2 References required within 3 years of start.
