• The hospital has a bed capacity of 73 and provides a range of services including:

  • Inpatient/outpatient emergency services
  • Dental and ophthalmology services
  • Orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures
• Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory surgical procedures.
• The community is culturally rich, serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes, along with a diverse workforce.

Job Description

• The Clinical Nurse will perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and the ability to work independently.
• Responsibilities include providing support to individuals of all ages and their families, following physician orders, and adhering to nursing policies and procedures.

Necessary Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice in any U.S. state, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
• Must maintain current certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
  • Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire

Additional Information

• Orientation: Every two weeks
• Housing: Limited options available; shared housing units at $600 per month, based on availability. No family or pets allowed.
• COVID Exemptions: No religious exemptions accepted; medical exemptions require approval from the medical review board.
