Job Opportunity: Paramedic at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital

  • Hospital System: Centra Health Inc
  • Facility: Centra Lynchburg General Hospital

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:45 - 7:15
  • Driving Requirement: Non-driving position
  • Orientation: Occurs every other week on Monday

Submission Information

  • Local Candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles
  • Submission Process: IVS to manager
  • Cancellation Policy: Client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to assignment due to census

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of like experience in the last 2 years
  • Certification: Current Virginia Certification required. If no VA Certification, approved VA EMT reciprocity and proof of FBI fingerprint check is required.
  • Out-of-State Applicants: Must hold national certification
  • Certifications Required:
    • AHA - ACLS
    • PALS
    • FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700
  • Preferred Certification: Hazmat Awareness (not required)

Schedule

  • Schedule Details: Rolling 6-week schedule period with contractors being overlaid after the schedule is built with full-time personnel.
