Job Description

Seeking Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2 years of experience in General ICU.
Experience required in the following areas:
- Sepsis
- Post cardiac arrest
- IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
- Covid-19
- Respiratory failure
- Severe DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis)
- Multi-system organ failure
- CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment)
- GI Bleed
- Renal failure
- Stroke
EPIC experience is required.

Required Certifications

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CHEMO - Chemotherapy
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
NURSYS Verification - Required for all RNs
IV Certification - For LVN/LPN/Other
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
NIH Stroke Certification
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Color Blind Testing Online
Competency Exam - Required as applicable by Profession/Specialty

Additional Requirements

Background Check: Required within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked within the past 7 years.
Physical Exam: Must be signed by a licensed healthcare provider, indicating the candidate is free of infectious disease.
Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start.
Vaccinations:
- Tdap Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine during flu season
- COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination
References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years.

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically EPIC.
