Facility Information

Hospital System: Centra Health Inc
Facility: Centra Lynchburg General Hospital

Position Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Type: IMU RN (Intensive Medical Unit Registered Nurse)
Patient Population:
- Mix of med-surg, tele, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients
- Neuro patients
- CVA patients

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour night assignments
Orientation: Every other week on Mondays
Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekends per month based on unit need
Start Dates: 3/24 & 4/7

Requirements

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in relevant specialty
- Travel experience required
- Charge experience preferred
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Licensure:
- Active VA / Compact License required at time of submission
Technology: Cerner experience preferred

Additional Information

Local Candidates: Locals within 60 miles are not accepted
Cancellation Policy: Client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census
COVID/Flu Policy: Centra accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu
Teaching Hospital: Expect to work with and support students and new hires

All RTO (Request Time Off) must be included in the submission packet.
