  • Designations: Comprehensive Stroke Center, Magnet Designation

Job Description

  • The Nuclear Medicine department includes:
    • 3 Inpatient rooms
    • 3 Outpatient rooms
  • Travelers should expect to float between inpatient and outpatient settings as needed.
  • Support available while on contract includes:
    • Unit coordinator
    • Staff Technologists
    • Radiologic Technologists (RT)
    • Hospitalist (available 24/7)
  • Charting and equipment used:
    • EPIC
    • GE Nuclear Cameras
    • Spect CT and Spect
  • Orientation: 1 shift of orientation to learn the flow of the unit.
  • Dress Code: Caribbean blue scrubs required.
  • Personal Grooming: No artificial fingernails or extenders allowed during direct patient contact. Natural nail tips must be kept less than 1/4 inch long.
  • Parking: Free parking available onsite.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in Nuclear Medicine
    • Previous travel experience
  • Certifications:
    • Active BLS (AHA)
    • ARRT or NMTCB
    • IEMA (IL)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with EPIC
