Position Details
- Job Title: Registered Nurse

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have 1 year of EPIC experience.
- Must possess an active South Carolina license or a multistate license.
- Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
Floating Policy
- Agency staff may be required to float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses as needed due to census concerns. Staff will only float to units they are qualified for and have demonstrated competencies.
Required Certifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Certification must not expire within 30 days of start.
- BLS - Basic Life Support: Certification must not expire within 30 days of start.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Required for specific units.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: Required for NICU and L&D.
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: Required for ER/ED and Pediatric ER candidates.
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Required for ER/ED, Pediatric ER, and Behavioral Health RNs.
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for specific units.
- STABLE: Required for L&D and NICU RN Travelers.
- ENPC: Required for ER and Pediatric ER candidates.
Additional Requirements
- Background Check: 7-year criminal check required.
- Drug Testing: 5-panel drug screen required within 1 year of start.
- Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
- Vaccinations: Documentation required for Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.
- Flu Vaccine: Documentation or medical/religious exemption required annually.
Compliance and Documentation
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment: Required for all candidates.
- State License Verification: Must be verified within 30 days of start.
- NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, and AP.
- Education Verification: Required for all candidates.
Competencies
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required annually.
- Core Competencies: Must be updated annually and include various training topics.
Facility Specific Documents
