Job Opportunity: High-Risk Labor & Delivery Nurse
Position Details
- Specialty: Nursing

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery in facilities handling at least 250 deliveries per month is required.
- Experience with EPIC is mandatory.
- Certifications required: NRP (AHA), BLS (AHA).
- Current fetal monitoring certification is highly preferred; if not current, verification of completion of an Intermediate level fetal monitoring class is necessary.
- The facility assists with approximately 400 deliveries per month, including a high-risk population.
- Candidates must be comfortable handling high-risk laboring mothers, high-risk ante-partum cases, administering epidurals, and circulating in C-sections.
- Patient population may include COVID-19 patients.
- Travelers must pass a medication exam and any other OB-related tests during initial orientation to continue.
Requirements
- Must present a submission page with profile; profiles without this page will be declined.
- Submission page must include the traveler's permanent address, which should be over 100 miles from the facility.
- A current and unencumbered RN license to practice in Oklahoma is required upon submission of the profile.
Additional Information
- This is a safety-sensitive position as defined under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA). Employers may refuse to hire or may discipline employees who test positive for marijuana in safety-sensitive roles, even with a valid medical marijuana license.
- Start date: Tuesdays.
