Employment Details

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details:
- 3x12 D/N
- Rotating Shifts: 7:00-19:30 / 19:00-07:30
Start Dates: 3/17, 3/31
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Holiday Requirement: As needed
Float Requirement: Required to float to other units within level of acuity

Job Description

Unit: 2NE CCU CVICU
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience with conscious sedation and vents
- First-time travelers accepted with adequate experience

Requirements

Licensure:
- DC RN Licensure (Pending DC license accepted but must have license prior to start date)
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Additional certifications may be required based on unit description (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC)

Health and Safety Requirements

Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccination required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (Dose 1 and fully vaccinated)
Health Documents:
- Annual physical exam
- N95 Fit Test (within 9 months of start)
- TB testing (IGRA or PPD Skin Test)
- Other immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella)

Additional Information

Background Check: Required within 90 days of start
Drug Screen: Required within 90 days of start
References: Two positive supervisory references required
Work History Verification: Minimum of two years of experience required
