Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Overview

Shift Details

• Schedule: 5 x 8 Days (0700-1530 M-F)
• On Call/Weekend Requirement: No on call, no weekend
• Float Requirement: None

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (MR)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - as required by unit description
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for RN/LPNs in ED or Pediatrics
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required by unit description
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required by unit description
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - required for L&D candidates
  • Tech Cert Verification - National
  • NIH Stroke Certification - required based on unit description

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult ICU, ER/Trauma
  • Proficiency in various imaging techniques including abdomen and pelvis, chest and breast, head and neck, musculoskeletal, and more
  • Experience with PACS and Siemens
  • Must have experience with CERNER

• Health Requirements:

  • Flu vaccination required
  • Annual physical exam stating ability to perform work without accommodations
  • N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually
  • TB testing and vaccination records (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella)

• Background Check:

  • Criminal background check required within 90 days of start
  • Two positive supervisory references required

• Documentation:

  • I9/E-Verify Attestation required
  • Drug Screen within 90 days of start (excludes marijuana)
  • Driver's license required if driving is an essential function of the job

• Vaccination Requirements:

  • COVID-19 vaccination required (Dose 1 and fully vaccinated)
  • Medical and religious exemptions can be submitted but are subject to strict approval guidelines
