Job Description

The position is for a US Tech/MFM Ultrasound Tech in a high-volume department that performs ultrasounds on OB patients, many of whom are high-risk and have fetal abnormalities.

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required for RN/LPNs in ED or Pediatrics)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required by unit description)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required by unit description)
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D candidates)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (required based on profession/state)
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement (required annually)
• State License Verification (required prior to start)
• NIH Stroke Certification (as required by unit description)

Health Documents

• Annual physical exam stating the candidate is able to perform work without accommodations and is free from communicable diseases.
• N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually.
• Vaccination records for Tdap, TB, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella.
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excludes marijuana).

Background and History Checks

• Criminal background check required within 90 days of start.
• Two positive supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.
• Complete 7 years of work history including education and employment history.

Other Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific modules and training prior to start.
• Must provide a clear photo for badge identification.
