Number of Beds: 20
Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6, depending on level of care
Type of Patients: Inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care (medical surgical and/or step-down patients)
Typical Length of Stay: Short stay (<24 hours)
Type of Equipment: Telemetry; all patients hardwired to bedside monitor
EMR System: Cerner

Staffing Information

Day Shift:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 4 RNs
- 2 CNAs
Night Shift:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 4 RNs
- 2 CNAs

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have:
- Telemetry competency
- Progressive Care experience
Preferred:
- Recent progressive care experience

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Information

Floating: Travelers may be required to float to other units as needed.
Dress Code: Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white.
Weekends: Every other weekend required; no call required.
