Job Opportunity: Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Details

Location: Wesley Rehabilitation Center, Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 41
- Current Staff: Estimated 15-20 therapy staff daily (PT, OT, SLP)
- Day Shift: 2 PTs needed (current staff of 3 PTs, 3 PTAs)
- Patient Ratios: Up to 6 patients per therapist during an 8-hour shift
- Equipment: Knowledge of ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, vital machines
- EMR System: Meditech Magic

Required Qualifications

Must Have:
- Current PT licensure in Kansas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred:
- Experience in Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting
- Neuro certification/experience

Typical Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of patients
Daily treatment including gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver training
Ensure patients meet the 3-hour therapy requirement in Inpatient Rehab

Flexible with hours for start/stop treatment times
Willing to work rotating weekends
Hands-on clinician with a focus on patient treatment
