- Total Staffed Beds: 820
Employment Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3x12 hour nights (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours/week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Rotation: Required
- On Call Requirement: Not applicable
- Local Radius: 60 miles
- Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis
Job Description
- Position/Specialty: MS Float Pool RN
- Responsibilities: Float to medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River Tower. Patient ratios may vary depending on the unit assigned.
Qualifications
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years highly preferred; first-timers accepted
- License Required: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for specific units
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for pediatric units
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - not required for ER RNs
Additional Information
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms
- Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit
