• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Description

• Position/Specialty: MS Float Pool RN
• Responsibilities: Float to medical-surgical floors at the Main hospital and Ashley River Tower. Patient ratios may vary depending on the unit assigned.

Qualifications

• Years of Experience Required: 2 years highly preferred; first-timers accepted
• License Required: South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - required for specific units
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required for pediatric units
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - not required for ER RNs

Additional Information

• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms
• Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit

Health Requirements

• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap within 10 years

• A clear, passport-style photo is required for badge purposes.
• Fit testing for masks is required prior to start.
